Hello!
My name is Marvin Quezon.
Let all your things have their places; let each part of your business have its time. - Benjamin Franklin
I am a Full-Stack Web Developer from the Philippines who loves building useful, people-focused apps. I work mostly with Laravel, Vue.js, and Tailwind CSS, and I've had the chance to collaborate with both local and international teams. Beyond coding, I also help run the Laravel Philippines Facebook community, where I share articles, contribute to discussions, mentor students and junior developers, and learn from a growing group of over 15,000 fellow devs.
Over the years, I've built apps not just for learning or experimentation, but to solve real frustrations I've encountered—especially as a freelancer working with clients and agencies. One of those frustrations eventually grew into SignDeck, a lightweight tool that helps people collect documents and signatures easily, without subscriptions, credit card blocks, or unnecessary complexity. It wasn't meant to be a startup. It was simply something I needed — and now it's helping others too including my friends.
Every now and then, I also get invited by various academic institutions as a research/thesis defense panelist, which gives me the chance to share what I know and connect with students just starting their tech journey. It is always a great experience to see the passion and dedication of the students and to be able to share my knowledge and experience with them.
Outside of work, I try to keep life balanced. I stay active through running and weightlifting, and when I want to unplug, I dive into video games like Elden Ring, Monster Hunter, Total War: Warhammer, and Lies of P. I even have a small YouTube gaming channel where I upload my gameplay highlights — usually boss fights where I challenge myself to win without taking damage on maximum difficulty (though I haven't posted in a while).
This site is my personal space — a mix of notes, ideas, and reflections on tech, gaming, health, and life in general. Hopefully, you find something here that is useful, entertaining, or at least relatable.
